An invitation-only collective of women — different stories, different cuts, one precious family. Built by She & HER. Hosted by David Yurman.
Here's the idea, plainly. Three evenings, inside your boutiques, for a room of women who should already be your clients and aren't yet. September in Houston. October in Atlanta. Back to Houston in November, right before the holidays — and a fourth night in New York if you want it.
We're not asking David Yurman to fund this. The experience is produced and underwritten by She & HER and our partners. What we're asking for is the room, the collections, and client advisors on the floor — and what we're offering is a collective of women who should already be your clients.
This proposal follows one guest through a year — from the evening the invitation reaches her to the season she becomes a client of the house. Every page underneath answers one part of that story, so the arc below is also the map. Read it straight through, or go to whichever stop you want the detail on.
Twelve pages, one at a time — not a scroll. Move with the nav at the top or the arrows at the foot of each page. If you only have two minutes, read Her Night and The Alignment; everything else is the evidence underneath those two. When you're done, we'd like twenty minutes — Next has the details.

The idea underneath all of it.
Sapphires come out of different parts of the world. Different conditions, different pressure, wildly different color and character. Every one of them belongs to the same family.
That's the whole thought. The Sapphire Society gathers women who look nothing alike on paper — different careers, different stories, different ways of moving through a room — and treats what makes each of them singular as the point rather than the exception.
A sapphire isn't made precious by being discovered. The value was always sitting there. Discovery is just the moment somebody finally looks properly.
These women already have the means, the taste and the milestones that make them natural clients for a house like yours. Nobody has built the room that puts them in front of you.
What we're proposing, plainly — and why the shape of it matters more than any one evening.
The Sapphire Society is a small, quietly selected group of women who become the founding members of a new community — built on safety, sisterhood, visibility, and buying power that gets used on purpose. Thirty guests a night. Small on purpose: at thirty, every woman in the room gets spoken to.
It opens in September at David Yurman Houston, The Galleria. Champagne at the door. An award-winning violinist in the room. Guests exploring the collections with real client service instead of a sales floor. Three founders in that room also walk out with something that changes how their businesses run.
Then it keeps going. Act Two moves to Atlanta in October. Act Three comes back to Houston during AfroTech week in November, where She & HER is a strategic partner.
That shape is deliberate. One party makes a nice night. Three makes a relationship — and it closes in the month before people do their holiday spending.
And there's a fourth city on the table. David Yurman is a New York house. So is a real share of this community. See the calendar.
This isn't a shopping event with a guest list. It's a relationship platform that happens to meet inside your boutique — and it puts David Yurman in the position of the house where these women are seen, heard, celebrated, and actually served.
A connection platform built for and centering the sapphic community — women who love women — designed to put the human before the profile.
We built it around safety, trust, and compatibility that actually means something. Verification-first access, thoughtful onboarding, matching based on alignment rather than a photo grid. The platform learns who someone is, where she is in her life, and what kind of connection she has room for.
From there it opens out — into interest- and experience-based communities, not just one-to-one matches. The Sapphire Society is the first of those we're building in the physical world.
Five things guide all of it: safety first, human before algorithm, intentional connection, inclusivity with integrity, and growth led by the community itself.
We're backed by NVIDIA Inception, AWS Activate, and Google for Startups Cloud, with a founding team out of Google, Microsoft and Etsy. We say that because it matters here — this is a company with infrastructure behind it, not an events idea with a logo.
The Sapphire Society brings that same philosophy into a room: different stories, identities, careers and backgrounds, gathered to celebrate what makes each woman singular — and cared for in community.
A sapphire doesn't become precious because someone discovers it. Its value was always there.
Desirée Mayon is a Black sapphic technologist and data scientist, and the CEO and founder of She & HER. She's spent fifteen years in machine learning — Google, Microsoft, Etsy, Nordstrom, Cambridge — and she built the technology, the product, the nonprofit and the community here herself.
Much like David Yurman's 46-year legacy, hers is a story about intention, craftsmanship, and something meeting its moment.
"She & HER is a love letter to myself, to the human I'm still discovering, and to the version of me that didn't yet have the language or the space to exist fully."
A luxury consumer everyone talks about in terms of spending power, and almost nobody engages in an intimate, relationship-driven way.
She isn't coming to an event. She's a collector, a milestone buyer, a bridal and anniversary client, an executive gift buyer, a referral source — and often the person who sets the taste for a whole family.
Her value goes well past what she spends herself. These are connectors. What she recommends moves through her family, her firm, her group chat and her city.
One woman served properly is worth more than a night of walk-ins. And she tells people.
Four things, each picked so the night feels curated rather than catered.
Valet and escort model service, branded florals, the photo moment and the full production team are all ours to produce. On the night, your team's only job is client service.
Three women. Thirty days. Measurable transformation — and the thread that ties three separate evenings into one story.
She & HER presents The Sapphire Gems Series — a 30-day business transformation spotlighting three sapphic women entrepreneurs at each of the three nights, the inaugural Sapphire Gems.
Each one comes in with a real problem and a real starting number. Over thirty days she works on lead generation, sales conversion, booking, automation and retention, with the technology and the coaching behind her. Every session is filmed and shared — carrying her own brand alongside She & HER and, with your blessing, David Yurman.
The Gems are introduced at the launch. Their results land during AfroTech week: what they changed, what it did, and the growth they can actually show.
The women who met in September come back in November to find out how it ended — and they come back to a David Yurman boutique to do it.
Two people decide whether this works: the woman holding the invitation, and the client advisor on your floor. Stage by stage, here's what changes for each of them.
This isn't three parties. It's a standing relationship with a room of women who were always going to spend at this level, and who nobody has bothered to ask.
Three acts, and an open fourth. Dates are held and we'll move them to fit the boutique calendar.
New York is an open option, not an assumption. If you want it, we'll set the date against the flagship calendar and build it as its own night.
This first season is an alignment, not an invoice. She & HER and our partners produce and underwrite the experience. David Yurman hosts it. What we're really proposing is a relationship that gets to prove itself before anyone asks you for a budget line.
We're not asking David Yurman to fund this season. We're asking for the room — and for the chance to show you who's in it.
I'll be direct about why I care about this one.
The women we're putting in your room have spent their whole lives being welcomed conditionally — in stores, in offices, in rooms exactly like this one. They have the means. They have the milestones. What they've rarely had is a house that made the first move.
That's the entire proposition. You already make the thing they want. We're offering to build the room where they get asked.

What we'd ask for next. Twenty minutes with whoever owns experiential and client development for Houston. We'll walk the run of show, how the guest list gets built, and how the nights connect — and answer anything it raises. September holds if we can get a decision in the next few weeks; the boutique calendar is the only real constraint.
